Man Sentenced For Spiking Office Coffee Maker

CHICAGO
A suburban Chicago man has been sentenced to three years in prison for spiking an office coffee maker because he was angry at his bosses. A Cook County judge imposed the sentence on Thursday on Kemarat Vathananand (51) of Skokie. Vathananand, who was initially also charged with attempted murder, pleaded guilty to felony food tampering and faced a maximum prison term of seven years.
