Racing Pigeon Starts New Life In Africa

LONDON

A British racing pigeon has become a black magic tourist attraction in Nigeria after getting lost. Tyson, owned by Brenda Benting from Telford, flew 3,000 miles the wrong way when he set off in a race from France in June. Six weeks later he crashed into Godwin Agbagidi’s front door in Nigeria. Godwin is now looking after Tyson because he believes anyone who harms the bird would be cursed by ju-ju black magic. And locals are flocking to see the tame ‘giant dove’.
